Minneapolis-Area Airport to See New Bizav Development AIN Online

JANUARY 8, 2018 | BY CURT EPSTEIN

Minneapolis-based charter/management provider Best Jets International will soon break ground on a new hangar complex at St. Paul Downtown Airport, the first new lease development at the Minnesota airport in more than a decade. Both of the new structures in the multimillion-dollar project will have 19,200 sq ft for aircraft storage, as well as adjoining passenger lobby, offices, and maintenance areas.

The company will continue to operate from its current base at Minneapolis/St. Paul International Airport until the completion of construction, expected around the end of this summer.

“Our new hangars will give us the space we need to accommodate the growth of our client base and number of aircraft under management,” stated Larry Gregg, the company’s vice president of operations. “The addition of a fuel farm and ground equipment will also allow us to expand our capabilities.”

Minnesota Vikings Player Takes Children's Hospital Patients on a North Pole Journey - University of Minnesota Health

As the plane prepared to depart for the North Pole, Twinkle the Elf, acting as flight stewardess, shared important instructions with the excited kids buckled into their seats:

"This is a very special flight," she said. "You have to believe really, really hard, otherwise we won't be able to make it to the North Pole."

There was plenty of belief to go around on Monday evening, as Minnesota Vikings tight end Kyle Rudolph accompanied 30 University of Minnesota Masonic Children's Hospital patients and their families on "Rudy's Red Eye Express" to the North Pole, where they met Santa Claus and his entourage.

The event was made possible thanks to the generous efforts of many donors, including Kyle Rudolph and family, Vault Aviation, Best Jets International, Maven Events, Total Luxury Limos, Crave Catering, Lady Vamp Artistry, the General Store of Minnetonka, MN Nice Cream, Rock With U, BeEvents and others.
